I am taking creating this blog as a positive step towards independance as Tina Culverhouse the Artist of many pursuits. I have been spurred on by looking at the Daily Painting blog by Justin and have made a personal commitment not to be left behind by this technical stuff. Having been part of a blog in the past which was never kept up for whatever reason and been addicted to Flickr but found it swallowed hours of time at a go I am going to get to grips with my digi camera and get my ass into gear and show the world what I am made of, whether it likes it or not.

- I live and work in Hertfordshire England, I have a degree in Fine Art. I studied Fine Art at Middlesex Polytechnic where I was known as Tina Ashley. I have been working as an independant artist since 1999 and been in the artgroup SG5 Art since 2006. I show in galleries and museums locally. I am currently working on a series of local landscapes through direct observation.
